A beautiful paradise of 14acres of natural gardens, trees, sculpted willow fedges, arches, domes and tunnels.  Facilities are hand crafted from reclaimed and recycled materials, avoiding use of potentially toxic building materials.  There are additional areas for camping, retreating, playing and many friendly animals.

  • There is one on-grid cabin, the Long House cabin, with mains electricity, a full kitchen and small dining/lounge space.
  • Our secluded A-frame pallet tiny house cabin is located at the far end of the ecofarm and is completely off-grid.
  • There are two yurts, a 4.2 m and a 5.5m diameter, which are very popular in summer.
  • Our large bell tent is also popular as it can sleep 5 people very comfortably.
  • We also accept a limited number of campers per season as we have limited tent pitches.
  • Campers can also use the Hogan round house kitchen and dining cabin located in the camping field.
  • The Hogan has a central open fire pit for camp fires indoors even if it is raining outside.
  • Situated within the camping field is the Long Drop dry composting toilets.
  • The children’s playground is situated in the field immediately adjacent to the Hogan and camping field.
  • Not far from these facilities is our sand arena, which we use for horse training and games (beach volleyball)  and activities in the summer months.
  • You can play with our animals (while observing the rules) and take part in any of our free activities, such as animal feeding morning and evening.
  • Nearer to our communal bathroom where the solar showers are located is our charging station where you can charge mobile devices such as phones, tablets and laptops.

“A wonderful place, amazing hosts!  We did the 3 Night Eco Stay package.  I will never forget it and hope to return soon.  Beds are so comfortable and all is very clean.  Tame animals and the bbq was out of this world, the activities were very special and the kids thought forest school was the best!”

Rob W., July 2017

“We booked in for 3 nights and ended up staying for 6!  From the moment myself and my family arrived, we felt we had found a little corner of paradise that was ours to be a part of for a short while.  Wonderful people, friendly animals, gorgeous surroundings, excellent facilities, and very helpful and beautifully crafted signs.  Everything has been developed over time and all in the luscious surroundings of ancient wooded south county Galway.  So peaceful. Thank you Marion, Flor, Paul and Merle! Hope to see you again.”

Chris C., July 2017

“Great place, is totally the way of the future. Living together, helping together (even though we were guests) that’s what it is all about! Using all resources with minimal to no waste. Great people there, always willing to help. Great get away. Get in touch with nature is what we need to do, and this place is a way.  Be open and have a great experience.  Loved it and miss them already!”

Jana B., May 2017
